"Sarah Ellen Ainsworth Blair is the daughter of Francis Tolman Ainsworth and Julie Ann Johnston. She was born in Belvidere, Illinois. She is a sister of Mary Ainsworth (Daniel) Foster, Sarah Ainsworth (George) Coffin, Julie Ann (David) Swain and sister, Jane who died in childhood. She had two brothers, John who is buried in Rockford, illinois and George Francis who is buried in Belvidere, Illinois. Her mother and sister, Jane, are both buried in Belvidere. Her father died in Apr 1850 in Marengo, Iowa en route to the California Gold fields."
