Mrs. Bauman was born in Woolstock and had lived in Eagle Grove from 1951 until moving to Story City in 1993. She was a nurse's aide with Rotary Ann Nursing Home and had managed Wright County Home, both in Eagle Grove. She enjoyed sewing.
She Is survived by three sons, Dennis of Roland, Leo of Lakeville, Minn., and Gene of Grimes; a brother, Dick Wilcox of Colfax; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas.
Friends may call an hour prior to the time of services today at Bethany Manor Chapel. Visitation will continue from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. and rosary will be recited. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Manor or her church. Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City is handling arrangements.
