Mary Jane Brady, 81, of Galax, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was the widow of Nathan F. Brady Sr. She was born July 16, 1922, in Farmville to Jessee and Florence Lineberry Bonn.
Survivors include a daughter, Betsy Brady of Galax; a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan "Sonny" Brady Jr., and Brenda, of Galax; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Delmar Fields of Galax; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Mary Bonn of Baltimore, Md., George and Lucille Bonn of Galax and Howard and Catherine Bonn of Woodlawn; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral was held last Friday, at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home with burial in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The Rev. J. Loyd Pugh officiated.
