Nathan Franklin Brady, Senior, 87, of Galax, died March 4, 2000 in Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax. He was born in Carroll County, Virginia July 22, 1912 to James Franklin Brady and Linnie Alverta Davis Brady. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Brady, daughter Betsy Jane Brady of Galax; son and daughter-in-law Nathan Franklin Brady "Sonny" and Betsy Brady of Galax; Brother Howard Brady of Castlewood; two grandsons, one great grandson. Funeral was March 7 at 11 A M in the Vaughan Guynn Chapel conducted by the Reverend Don Fox. Burial was in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by Hillsville VFW Post 1115.
