DELANSON - A funeral will be conducted Wednesday for Mrs. Rose Westfall, 93, of Gallupville Road, RD 1 Delanson. She died Friday evening in St. Clare's Hospital, Schenectady after a long illness.
Born in the town of Wright, Mrs. Westfall was a lifelong resident Delanson area resident and taught in Schenectady County elementary schools, retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Delanson United Methodist Church. Her husband, Leslie Cecil Westfall, died in 1970.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice R. Westfall of Albany; a son, Victor C. Westfall of Cherry Plain; a brother, Willis Auchampaugh of Sebring, Fla; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the White-Van Buren Funeral Home, 46 Main St. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delanson United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Quaker Street.
