Mrs. Langley died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 1995, in Running Water Draw Nursing Home in Olton.
She was born Esther Cordelia Whitfill on July 26, 1898 in Alma, Texas. She married James R. Langley on Jan 24, 1917 in Alma and moved to Lockney in 1919.
A homemaker, she was a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 15, 1945 and by a daughter, Eunice Covington.
Survivors include three daughters, Eloise Gallaway of Olton, Bobbie Damron of Dimmitt and Cecelia Higdon of Lubbock; three sons, James Langley of San Diego, Calif., Ralph Langley of Slaton and Neil Langley of Lockney; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Gallaway, James Langley, Ralph Langley, Mike Higdon, Andy Langley and Clyde Damron Jr.
The family suggests memorials to Running Water Draw Care Center in Olton.
