Ralph Martin Langley, 84, of Slaton, passed away on May 11, 2014 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 10:00 AM, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Slaton. Father Joe James will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park of Lubbock. Visitation with recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 7:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock.
Ralph was born December 10, 1929, in Floyd County to James Robert and Esther Cordelia (Whitfill) Langley. On November 18, 1953, he married Patricia Ann Lee. She passed away March 16, 2011. Ralph worked in the steel construction business many years. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Slaton, Texas.
Survivors include three sons: Ralph Edward (Janice) Langley of Plainview, and William Martin Langley and John Patrick (Libby) Langley, both of Lubbock; a daughter, Sarah Cordelia (Sean) Gallemore of Lubbock; one brother; one sister; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his wife; his parents; a daughter, Mary Delissa Langley Williams; a grandson, Michael Sean Scoggin; three sisters and one brother.
