Gertrude Leona McCullough has gone to be with her heavenly Father. She at 82 passed away quietly in her sleep on Thursday, May 27, 2004.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kenneth McCullough, Gertrude will be missed by her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

She was humble, generous and an excellent cook and homemaker welcoming all those who entered her home.

Gertrude leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Janet H. McGhee of Petersburg, Pa., Susan N. Tuck of Yorktown, Penny Champine of Williamsburg; one son, Ronnie L. McCullough and his wife, Rose, of Clarksville, Tenn.; four sisters, Mary Brocker of San Angelo, Texas, Dorothy Komlofske of Garden City, Kan., Jane Kelly of Colorado Springs, Colo., Joan Washam of Puyallup, Wash.; three brothers, Willard Stebens of Fresno, Calif., Jim Stebens of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ed Stebens of Garden City, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will held for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton.
