At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nora Freund in Needville last Tuesday, occurred the death of Mr. W.H.H. Crockett.
Mr. Crockett was born in Nashville, Tennessee March 4, 1847 and has been a resident of Texas since the age of 7 years. He is a grandson of David Crockett. He was married to Miss LIzzie Drake in Falls County, and to this union were born 9 children, 7 of which survive him. Deceased has been a faithful member of the Methodist Church since 1885.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Doerr of Rosenberg, with interment in the Needville Cemetery Wednesday.
Friends of the family sympathize with them in their bereavement.
