JACOB M. BAKER, a well known retired farmer, died at his home, 1914 Virginia Avenue, early on Tuesday morning of complications, after an illness of two months, aged 81 years. He was born and reared in Pennsylvania, the son of George and Lea (Miller) Baker.

He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by: daughter, M. Catherine, at home; sons, George R., Tilgmanton; William E., at home; and J. Emory, Baltimore; and sister, Mrs. Adaline Detter.

Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
