Herman Robinson, 84, of Anderson, passed away on Sept. 15, 2016, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born Jan. 6, 1932, in Allock, Ky., and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He was retired from Delco Remy, division of General Motors after 25 years of service. He previously worked for Container Corp., Forse Tool and Die, and was a coal miner in Kentucky for several years.
Herman proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and Army where he served in the Korean War.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling.
Herman is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Powers) Robinson of Anderson; two sisters, Sharon (Delbert) Green of Fairmount, and Bobbie (Rick) Spaulding of Anderson; sister-in-law, Fern (Tom) Davis of Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Bill (Sally) Powers of Anderson.
Herman is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Burnam and Rosie Robinson; two brothers, Harold and Cecil Robinson; six sisters, Wanda Lee Robinson, Vergie Poore, Shirley Adams, Wilma Hooten, Arminta Robinson, and Rosanna Whiteman; and a niece, Tracy Davis Breese.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Bob Bell officiating.
Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson.
