Mrs. Amanda Ellen Holmes Grinestaff, 81, formerly of Mt. Erie born Dec. 10, 1866 to Milton and Emily Holmes. She married George Williams who with three children have preceded her in death. She later married William Grinestaff. She leaves 5 children, Mrs. Louis [Hattie] Fishel of Argenta, Clarence Williams of Decatur, Mrs. H.P. [Emma] Laird of Pinckneyville, Cecil Williams of Granville, and Everett in Germany, one sister, Mrs. Lettie Stevens of Monticello and one brother Olive Holmes of Mt. Erie. Brown Cemetery.
