IVAN MILES ELGER, 79, of Lake Placid died Monday at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring. A native of Quebec, he moved to this area three years ago from Berlin, N.H. He was a retired lumber log buyer, Presbyterian, a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and a member of Masonic Lodge in Quebec.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam; a son, Harvey of Littleton, Colo.; a daughter, Sandra of Aurora, Colo.; and two grandchildren. Scott Funeral Home, Lake Placid.
