A Visitation will be at Welch Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M,, with a Service Immediately Following at 11:00 A.M. in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel.
The Service will Conclude at Blythe Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:30 P.M.
Mr. Fondren was Born in Choctaw County, MS on March 1st, 1930; and Went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2016.
He was a Korean War Veteran and Served in the US Army for 20 Years.
He also Retired from the US Postal Service after 22 Years.
He was a Member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama.
Mr. Fondren is Survived by his Wife, Jean; Sons John Jr. and Wife, Lisa; Jim and Wife, Sharon; Two Grandsons, Clint and Wife, Jill; and Craig and Wife, Ashley; and Seven Great Grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials can be made to French Camp Academy.
