ADELINE JULIA EDISON a resident of this community for 36 years passed away Friday, September 26, 1947 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter (Virgie) Peterson at the age of 76 years.
The deceased was born in Pine Island, Goodhue County, Minnesota, on June 22, 1869. She married on June 22, 1889 to James Elias and to this union three children were born. Henry James deceased, Mrs. Peter (Virgie) Peterson, Twin Valley and Nancy Ann, whereabouts unknown. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
She was married to Courtland Edison on January 17, 1912 and he preceded her in death September 28, 1932. Mrs. Edison was confirmed by Rev. C. W. Ashestad on June 11, 1935.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 30, 1947 from Zion Lutheran church. In the absence of the pastor, Rev. A.C. Odden, Rev. H.B. Raun officiated.
