Eugene Oregon March 4, 1911

'At the Eugene hospital at 11:25 A.M., Wallace B. McNeal, aged 69 years, died of pneumonia. He was a veteran of the civil war and had lived in Eugene for some time past. He leaves a son J. N. McNeal, who lives on a farm near the city. The funeral will be held Sunday, at 2:00 p.m., with interment in the Grand Army plot of the I.O.O.F. cemetery, under the direction of the G.A.R post of this city.'
