Second Henry married Jane P. Conover on April 5, 1916 in Goodhue County, Minnesota To this marriage 3 children were born: Helen (Jessie Moyer), Joyce (Clifford Skogman then Mr. Gamble), James Franklin Elias. They farmed in Roscoe Township, Goodhue County, Minnesota.
Henry passed away young on January 1, 1928 in Pine Island, Goodhue County, Minnesota of uremia after a 4 year illness, leaving his widow, Jane to raise their children.

Zumbrota friends of Henry Elias of Pine Island were sorry to hear of his death at his home at Pine Island, following about four years of illness.
Mr. Elias is a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Conover of this city. Besides his wife, the former Jane Conover, he leaves four children to mourn his loss.
Funeral services will be held Friday at one o'clock from the home and later from the Methodist Church at Pine Island.
