She was also preceded in death by son Larry W. Rice; sisters Kate Neff, Doris McGlothlin and Annabelle Roe and brothers Paul, Robert, John, Daymond and Jesse Delano.
1937 graduate of New Market High School.
She had been employed as a proof-reader at R.R. Donnelly for 32 years, retiring in 1972.
