Son of Ernest & Inez Coons Delano.
Married Dorothy Fagan May 29, 1949. She survives.
Also surviving children Mark (Bev) Delano & Janet Clark; brothers Albert and Loyal (Patsy) Delano; sisters Thelma Crabtree and Lola (Leonard) Shermer; daughter in law Sylvia Delano; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son Mike Delano, daughter Judith Delano, brothers Paul, John, Daymond and Robert and sisters Doris McLaughlin, Kate Neff and Annie Roe.

Jesse was a farmer and had retired from RR Donnelley after 40 years.

He was a member of New Market Baptist Church.

Funeral service 2pm Wednesday, June 1 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Tami Mussche officiating. Visitation 4-7 Tuesday.

Memorial donations to the Make a Wish Foundation.
