C.T. Walden, 64, well known resident of Millwood, a member of one of the pioneer families of that section, died Thursday after a long illness, final rights being held this afternoon with interment at Walden cemetery, near Millwood, conducted by the Rev. N. H. Parrish of Hahira.
The deceased was an active member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
He has spent his entire life in this county, living at the time of his death on the old family place.
He is survived by four sons, George Walden of California, Charlie and Jess Walden of Nicholls, and L.A. Walden of Millwood, and nine daughters, Mrs. James Cowart of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Hettie Zenent of San Bernandino, Cal., Mrs. J. A. McDaniel, Sr., Mrs. Henry Musgrove, Mrs. Noel Davis and Misses Emily and Bernie Walden of Ware county, and Mrs. Brantley Whitehead of Nicholls, also a sister Mrs. N. R. Arnold of Millwood.
