Originally interned in what is today known at the St. Mary's Extension this cemetery fell into disrepair during the two world wars, and by the late 1950's it was handed over to the care of what became the London Borough of Sutton. As almost all the grave markers had fallen, broken or been vandalized, the plots were cleared and those salvageable were used to create a wall or lain flat as pictured. The family picture of Ellen and William's resting place and marker are pictured here.
