Kearney, Neb - Curtis Swinyer, 62, a carpenter, committed suicide Saturday night by hanging himself at his home here. Members of the family cut the rope when they found him hanging but he died soon after he was let down. He had lived here for about 30 years. His widow, six sons and a daughter survive. The motive for the suicide is not known.
