YUKOLA LAVERNE BOYD/KILDALL
On Saturday, August 6, 1994, Yukola Laverne Boyd/Kildall (nee Pool), passed away at age 81.
Loving wife to "Scotty" Boyd (deceased 1975) for 43 years, and to John Kildal (deceased 1992) during recent years of residence in Heritage Lodge, Grande Prairie, she was a devoted mother to four daughters by her first marriage; Marion (Bob) Field, Gladys (Kaye) Richards, Sheila (Lance) Love, Yukola (Don) McKinnon.
She also leaves to mourn her passing her brother, Lee Pool; her sister, Mina Pool; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers; Ralph, Harold and Tod Pool; and son-in-law, Ray Howarth.
Yukola was always active in church and community affairs in Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, Hythe and Spirit River (where Yukola and Scotty are fondly remembered as owners of the Spirit River IGA 1958-1972).
Yukola was a town councillor and member of many service organizations.
A memorial service for the late Yukola Laverne Boyd/Kildal will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 1994 at Forbes Presbyterian Church, Grand Prairie, Alberta.
She was cremated and her ashes spread over the original C. O. Pool Farm (homestead).
