Bertie Nadine Jones married Gerald Lee Adkisson on August 6, 1940, at the Baptist parsonage in Anthony, Kansas. They were the parents of Patsy Nadine, Jerry Lee, and Earnest Allen. She worked at a bakery in Anthony, then at First National Bank in Anthony, and later at First National Bank of Wichita until her retirement. After the death of Gerald Adkisson, she moved to Wichita and married Wayne Elton Dymond on October 2, 1966, at the First United Methodist Church in Wichita. After the death of Wayne Dymond, she married Ernest Thomas Clark on October 7, 1988, at Larned, Kansas. She enjoyed singing and playing piano, writing letters, poetry and devotionals, and studying the Bible. After a series of strokes, she died at Catholic Care Center in the presence of her husband and children.
