Mrs. Lizzie Gray, widow of Albert Gray of Coatsburg, was found dead in bed this morning about 9:30. Mrs. Gray lived alone in the village, and was about the house as usual yesterday, although she had not been well for some time. This morning her son Harvey, who is night operator at Camp Point, came down on the train. Shortly after nine he went over to his mother's house, and finding the curtains down and the doors locked, and being unable to arouse anyone, sought out his brother Orville, and together they forced an entrance to the house. They found their mother dead in bed. It is supposed that she died during the night, presumably of heart disease. Mrs. Gray was born in Missouri in November of 1848. Her husband died three years ago. She leaves, besides her sons Harvey and Orville, a son, Wallace, who lives in Quincy, and Lawrence of Fowler, one brother Ippensen Leach, of Coatsburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Urban Asher, of Coatsburg, and Mrs. Charles Felsman of Morrison.
