James Leach died at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the age of 56. He was was born in Kentucky, April 22, 1845, coming with his parents to Coatsburg when he was about 20 years old. In 1872 he was married to Miss Amanda Moore. Three sisters, as fellows, survive: Mrs. Chris Felsman, of Morrison, Ill., Mrs. Hattie Ascher and Mrs. Lizzie Gray, of Coatsburg There are also six children, Mrs. Fannie Bunte. of Burlington, la.; George, of Dallas City, Will, of Lima, and Rose, Frank and George, at home.
