Another child, Oscar Perry (1884 NE-1970 CA)

Mrs. Perry A. Luse, a resident of Nebraska for 48 years, passed away last Saturday at her home here after a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday from the Christian church, Mrs. Homer Turner officiating assisted by Rev. E.H. Maynard.

Mrs. Luse was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hawkins and was born at Paris, Ill., on Oct. 2, 1859. With her parents, she came to Lincoln, Nebr., about forty-eight years ago.

She was united in marriage to Perry Luse 47 years ago and most of their married life was spent in the Loup Valley and in Ord. To this union were born four sons, Ora H., Oscar P., William M., and Jessie G., all of whom with her husband, survive.

Mrs. Luse was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge. She joined the Christian church as a girl and was a loyal worker all during her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a true and earnest Christian. Her loss will be felt by the whole community.
