SHELDON, Iowa - Albert Roetman Jr., 63, of Sheldon died Sunday at his home of an apparent heart attack.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon. The Rev. Kenneth Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Roseland Cemetery in Sanborn.
Mr. Roetman was born April 13, 1916, in George.
He married Christina Paulsen Feb. 4, 1942, in South Sioux City. He was a trucker for a number of years and for eight years was a city employee of Sheldon, retiring two years ago.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2297 and the Church of Christ.
