W.R. "Bill" Dobson, 58, of 241 Cannon St.died Saturday.
Born in Greer, son of the late Alvin C and Irene Bailey Dobson, he was the president and owner of Dobson True Value Hardward Co. and a member of Memorial Methodist Church, Greer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vera Skinner Dobson, a daughter, Mrs. Debbie Dobson of the home, and a son Terry Dobson of the home. Two brother, Broadus and Charles Dobson of Greer; two sister, Mrs. Nelle Tuck of Greer and Mrs. Dorins Rainey of Maryville, Tenn.
Funeral service will be at 11 am Monday at Memorial United Methodist Church with burial in Wood Memorial Park in Spart Co.
The body is at Wood Mortuary where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Sunday and will be placed in the church at 10am Monday.
