Mrs. Dobson was a daughter of the late William Robert and Anna Smith Bailey. She was a native of Greer and was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nelle Tuck of Greer and Mrs. Doris Rainey of Maryville, Tenn.; three sons, Bill, Charles, and Broadus Dobson, all of Greer; 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 4 pm at Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Blocker officiating. Interment, directed by the Wood Mortuary, was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were the following grandsons; David, Carlton, Greg, Terry and Ricky Dobson, Jerry Tuck and Johnny Rainey. Honorary escort was composed of members of the Susanna Wesley Sunday School Class and Circle Number Three of Memorial United Methodist Church.
