Hannah was the daughter of John and Mary Demuth. Hannah married John Rothrock (1800-1870) in probably c1826-27 in probably Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Hannah and John had five known children, four boys and one girl; all of whom lived to maturity. John also died in Carroll County, Virginia and is possibly buried there. In 1850 and 1860 the family was living at South Coventry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. In 1870 they were living at Fancy Gap Township, Carroll County, Virginia. In 1880 the widow Hannah was living with her youngest child, Samuel Rothrock at Fancy Gap.
