Mrs. Linda Dianne Baxter Holcombe, age 67 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Monday, June 13, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Holcombe was born September 26, 1948 in Marietta, Georgia to her late parents Charles Washington and Joyce Elizabeth Young Baxter. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School, attended New Vision Pentecostal Church and owned and operated Faded Memories Antiques.She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan B. Holcombe, III and son-in-law Jesse B. Massey.
Mrs. Holcombe is survived by her daughter, CaSondra M. Massey of Ellijay, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Charles M "Chuck" and Mechelle Lewis of Ellijay, GA, grandchildren, Joseph H. Massey, Charles M. Lewis, Jr., Robert Honeycutt, Amanda Honeycutt and Laura Honeycutt, Zachary Hucaluk, sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl M. and Ronald Lynch of Dallas, GA., special niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Nolan Scroggins.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday June, 16th, 2016 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Hal Doster and Rev. Irene Wofford officiating. Music and singing will also be by Rev. Irene Wofford. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA at 12:30 pm with Don Flowers, Charles Lewis, Jr., Robert Honeycutt, Jody Dilbeck, Ronald Lynch and Shaun Hobson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Logan Funeral Home.
