DR. ROBERT F. HAND

Robert F. Hand, D.D.S., 90, of Medford, Mass., formerly of East Greenville, died Thursday at the Winthrop House Nursing Home, Medford, after a brief illness. His wife, the former Edna Griffiths, preceded him in death.
A Clarks Summit native, son of the late Floyd B. and Anna Miller Hand, he was an Army veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of major. A retired dentist, he received his predental education at the University of Scranton and earned his dental degree at the Temple University School of Dentistry. He served his dental internship at Reading Hospital, Reading, and was a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and the state and county dental societies.
Surviving are a son, Robert W., M.D., Medford, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph, and a sister, Dorothy Hand Dymond.
The funeral will be Sunday at 4 p.m. from the Cincotti Funeral Home, 421 High St., Medford, Mass. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Township.
