MRS. ANN MILLER HAND DIES AT CLARKS SUMMIT

Well Known Resident Of Abingtons Succumbs
At Home Following Lingering Illness
Mrs. Ann Miller Hand, wife of Floyd Hand, died early this morning at the family home, 911 Grove Street, Clarks Summit, following a lingering illness. The deceased was widely known in the Abingtons and was a member of the Clarks Summit Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Hand is survived by a daughter, Dorothy, at home, a teacher in the Clarks Summit Green High School; two sons, Cpl. Robert Hand, Camp Blanding, Fla., and Capt. Robert Hand, Camp Pickett, Va.; one brother, Robert H. Miller, this city, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Betzhold, Lakewood, Ohio.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family home with Rev. Scott D. Clarke, pastor of the Clarks Summit Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Dunmore Cemetery.
