Mrs. Herman Bargen passed away at Brodstone hospital at 1:30 Wednesday morning, October 5. She was 43 years of age.
Mrs. Bargen, who was the former Meta Schleif, was a life-long resident of Nuckolls county (sic). She has been in ill health the past year.
Surviving are her husband and four children, Duane, Jana Dee, Frances Kay and Billy; also her mother, Mrs. Ed Schleif, three brothers, Alvin, Vernon and Leo and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Jacobsen, Mrs. Esther Fritz and Miss Ruth Schleif.
Funeral services were held at the Priest Chapel Friday afternoon at two o'clock, with Rev. V. Jordening officiating. Interment was at Evergreen. -- Superior Express.
