Lillian Fagg-Skaggs, 90, of Springfield died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at St. John's Hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Athens, the daughter of George and Alice Nance Denning. She married William H. Fagg; he died in 1975. She later married Lewis Skaggs; he died in 1988. Two sons, Bruce Fagg and William H. Fagg Jr., also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Fagg-Skaggs, a homemaker, had worked as a waitress at various clubs and restaurants. She attended First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors: two sons, Alfred (wife, Dorothy) Fagg and Lee R. Fagg, both of Springfield; three daughters, Lois (husband, Robert) Marcus of Clayton, Bette (husband, Anthony) Crifasi of Springfield and Deborah Scott; 30 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (wife, Midge) Denning of Bakersfield, Calif., and Eddie Denning of California; and a sister, Margaret Kenoyer.
Services: Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Derrick Phillips officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery
