Bonita L. “Bonnie” Wanamaker, 69, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital.
Bonnie was born in Lebanon on April 10, 1947 to the late Paul A. Hummel, Jr. and Edith E. Birch Hummel. When she wasn’t working as a caterer for Elaine’s Catering, Bonnie enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, helping others and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three sons, Anthony Evans of Newport, David Wanamaker and wife Kelly of Annville, Cory Wanamaker and wife Christy of Shanghai, China, two daughters, Brenda Pence and husband David of Annville, Ronda Evans of Lebanon, a step-son Nicholas Hickerson of Lebanon, fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother Barry Hummel, husband of Faye, of Lebanon, and a sister Brenda Steele, wife of Floyd, of Jonestown.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2PM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bonnie’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
