He most likely died between 1860-1870. He is found on the 1860 census living with his brother, Thomas and his family. He is listed as an "idiot" on the census, which most likely meant he was mentally disabled in some way. He was a son of Robert Burbridge and Jaley Ann Richards.

I am not positive he was buried at Burbridge, but since most of his family was buried there it is likely. The tombstone photo I have placed on this memorial does not have an inscription, but there was a foot stone in place that had been hand carved with the initials "H. B.". The tombstone matches the one of "J. M. B." who I believe to be his brother, John.
