ST. MICHAELS — Memorial Mass for Reba Acorn McCabe, 71, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 2 at Mary Mother of Mankind, St. Michaels, Ariz.
McCabe died May 28 in Flagstaff. She was born July 25, 1930 in Stillwell, Okla. for the Ch3erokee Dove Clan.
McCabe graduated from Talaquah Nursing School. She worked at Fort Defiance PHS, Tuba City PHS, St. Michaels Mission and was a high school bookstore clerk for the Ganado Unified School District.
Survivors include her sons, Marvin McCabe of Safford, Ariz., Gentry McCabe and Steve McCabe of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Johnny McCabe of Yuma Ariz.; daughters, Marjorie J. McCabe of Window Rock, Ariz., and Joy of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Franklin Acorn of Redding, Calif and Wallace Acorn of Fort Smith, Ark.; sisters Gladys of Albuquerque and Grace of Stillwell, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William McCabe Sr.; parents, Franklin and Delia Acorn; sons Duane McCabe and Billy McCabe and one granddaughter
