Camilla “Millie” Howley, 77, of Topeka, died May 27, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Horton, Kansas on July 18, 1938 the daughter of Jose S. and Sarah (Hernandez) Quinto. Millie married Larry Howley in Horton, KS. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1992. She was a founding member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church and spent many years in the healthcare field. Millie is survived by her children, Carol Manis (Walter Runnels), of Topeka, Gerald (Rivka) Howley of St. Louis, MO, Anthony Howley, of Saegertown, PA, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Millie will lie in state at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church after 5:00 p.m. on Monday where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Leo Cemetery, Horton, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church or the American Heart Association sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
