Alfred W. Bettis, 64, of Royal, Arkansas, passed away November 2, 2014. He was born July 1, 1950, to Algie H. Sr. and Gladys M. Bettis. Alfred loved his family dearly and was an avid outdoorsman.
Alfred is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Mary Lou Bettis; daughter Marsha Woodall (James) of Royal and son Allen Bettis (Ketra) of Hot Springs Village; grandchildren Jonathan Bettis, Tammy Woodall, Adam Bettis, Bailey Humphreys, Perry Humphreys; great granddaughters Raven and Lilith Humphreys; two brothers Algie H. Bettis, Jr. (Teresa) of Proctor and Arthur Bettis (Caroline) of West Memphis; two sisters Geraldine Lewis of Colorado and Lorene West of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Keri Lynn Woodall.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Royal.
