Gates - Her sunrise was October 16, 1916 and her sunset was February 23, 2016.

Toni was born in Glacier National Park, MT to Emery and Jessie Marlow. She was the second of five children.

On July 29, 1935, she married Walter A. Thomas Sr. They moved to Gates in 1943 and had four children.

Toni was very passionate about reading, learning, and teaching children and adults about the things she loved and learned. She loved trains, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (she was a troop leader for many years), mountain climbing, hiking, fishing, gardening, and rocks.

She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts and of the Rebekah's and Odd Fellow lodges, a member of 3 garden clubs and the Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Walter A. Thomas Jr, daughter Juanita Emerson, sisters Mildred Dennison and Lilly Martin, and brother Elvin Marlow.

She is survived by daughter Aloha (Bob) Lillian and son Chris (Roxane) Emerson, 4 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

At her request there will be no funeral services.
