She was the daughter of the late William John Henry Inman and Julia Parton Inman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ammons who died in 1983; two brothers, James Adam Inman and Robert Laverne Inman; and one sister, Alice Kynett. She is survived by a daughter, Rose Marie Ammons of Clyde; three sons, Charles Ammons and his wife, Dot, and Ray Ammons, both of Waynesville, and Roger Ammons and his wife, Kathy of Sylva; four sisters, Julia Francis of Spokane, WA, Edna McCarter and Thelma Pressley, both of Canton, and Ruth Cole of Waynesville; two brothers, Louis Inman of Taylorsville, NC and Cedric Inman of Waynesville.
