Opal Lona (Finch) Littlejohn, 99, of Arlington, and formerly of Hubbard, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 in Arlington. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with Rev. Bob Rainey officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. before the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Littlejohn was born March 14, 1917 in Otto, Texas to William Prather and Carlee (Williams) Finch. She lived most all of her life in Hubbard except for the past few years that she was in Arlington. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church of Hubbard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Othor Francis Littlejohn; her parents; her daughter, Lona Cole; two sisters, Noma Vaughan and Lucy Murphy; three brothers, Newell Finch, Burritt Finch and Woodrow Finch and two grandsons, Mark Cole and Michael Cole.
Mrs. Littlejohn is survived by a grandson, Paul David Cole of Houston; a granddaughter-in-law, Jayme Cole of Arlington and several nieces, nephews and cousins and other extended family members and friends. (Wade Funeral Home, Hubbard, Texas)
