William Prather Finch was born in Blandville, Ballard Co., KY, to William N. Finch and Susan Belle (Linthicum)Finch. Moved to Houston Co.,TX when about 5 years old. July 3, 1901, married Carlee Williams. They had six children, Newell, Noma, Burritt, Lucy, Woodrow and Opal. He was a restaurateur in Hubbard, TX from 1920 until the early 1930's.
