ALLEN, PHILIP H., 87, of Jeffersontown, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East.

He was a retired technician for R.C.A., a Marine serving in World War II, a member of the Chenoweth Park Baptist Church and the Jeffersontown Masonic Lodge #774.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anna L. Allen; sons, David E., Gary W. and Warren G. Allen.

He is survived by his daughters, Patricia A. Sauer, Kathleen Allen, Janet M. Browning, Nancy J. Forster and Pamela J. Patterson; brothers, Ben, Breck and Bill Allen; sisters, Ione Robertson, Bertha Harrison and Emma Jean Turner; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. with cremation to follow. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association .
