York, Leah Estella Werner, 71, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Margaret E. Moul Home in York.

She was the daughter of the late Charles S. Werner and Treva (née Albright) Werner. Leah was born May 25, 1944, in Pottstown, Pa.

She was a member of the St. Jacob's Stone Church.
She enjoyed many summers attending Easter Seal camps and was one of the original residents of the Margaret E. Moul Home.

She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. She taught her feet how to write and create artwork.
She is survived by two brothers, Charles W. Werner of Bloomsburg, Pa., and Thomas P. Werner of York Springs.

She is also survived by nephew, Greg A. Werner; and nieces, Heidi L. (Née Werner) Newell and Kelly A. (Née Werner) Smith. She was preceded in death by a brother, David E. Werner; and a nephew, Scott A. Werner.

A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Beck Funeral Home in Spring Grove with Pastor Melissa Eicholtz officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery in Glenville. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret E. Moul Home, 2050 Barley Road, York, PA 17404 or St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 5152 Stone Church Rd., Glenville, PA 17329.
