Final Rites Monday Afternoon for Herman Weihe, 80
Herman H. Weihe, 80, died Friday in Sumner hospital, where he has been a patient since March 12. Funeral services were Monday at Grace Lutheran church, Rev. Arnold Thalacker officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery, Buck Creek.
Casket bearers were Henry Zell, Vernon Zell, H. W. Krueger, Leo Buhr, Leslie Buhr and Harry Buhr.
Herman H. Weihe was born Dec. 24, 1883, in Dayton township, the son of Henry and Sophie (Schaefer) Weihe. He farmed until 1936, when he moved to Tripoli, where he lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Niemeyer.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clara Sell, Sumner.
