Mrs. Edna Osier, 67, formerly of 1330 N. 12th St., died Tuesday evening at Heritage Nursing Center where she had been a resident for two months. The former Edna Gyr was born June 7, 1919, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late Hans and Lena Switzer Gyr. She attended Fond du Lac schools. On Aug. 23, 1938, she married Donald Osier. The couple moved to Sheboygan and lived on Lincoln Avenue for many years. In 1957, they moved to Fort Atkinson. After Mr. Osier died March 20, 1971, Mrs. Osier returned to Sheboygan. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Sherry) Bellemere of Manchester, N.H., Mrs. George (Renee) Mueller of Sheboygan, Mrs. Patricia Halverson of Fort Atkinson, and Mrs. Barbara Schulze of Sheboygan; three sons, Donald Jr. and Robert, both of California, and David of Fond du Lac; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; five sisters, Mrs. Alice Ziebell, Helen Immel, Brenda Klcebs, all of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Elaine Johnson of West Bend, and Mrs. Martha Stevens of Oshkosh; and two brothers, lonard Gyr and Ronald Gyr, both of Fond du Lie. Two brothers preceded her in death. The funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. Edwin R. Homer, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Friday until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Osier's name for First Assembly of God Church.
