Gene Gyr, 35, of 52 Harrison St., North Fond du Lac, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born April 28, 1936, in Fond du Lac, a son of Hans and Lena Schwitzer Gyr. He attended schools in North Fond du Lac and was a truck driver for Gyr Excavation Co.

Surviving are three brothers, Hans Jr. and Roland, both of Fond du Lac, and Leonard of North Fond du Lac; and six sisters, Mrs. Carl Ziebell and Mrs. Brenda Fuhrman, both of Fond du Lac, Mrs. John Stevens of Oshkosh, Mrs. Edna Osier of Sheboygan, Mrs. Robert Immelt of Route 6 and Mrs. Robert Johnson of Slinger. His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Gene Gyr, who died Saturday, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, the Rev. Martin K. Koehler officiating.
Burial was in Estabrooks Cemetery. Frederick Krueger was soloist and Mrs. Watson Waehler was organist for the services.
Pallbearers were Joseph Semenas, William Eickhoft, Richard Arenz, Gay Gyr, Rodger Elsinger and Donald Gruenwald.
